empathy for the slow road...

i would consider myself a very patient person; teach kids of all ages - adults too which sometimes require still greater patience, have a baby, pets, took transit or walked until late into my 20s, but then...did finally get my license, and this is where my patience wanes....on the road.  but it occurred to me the other week, that when it is the end of the day, and the car in front of me is driving the speed limit - or less, not to be impatient, but rather sympathetic.  coming home from work i would imagine one is excited to get there, for whatever reason; dinner, seeing the spouse and/or kids, their dog, relaxing, etc.  so...next time you're driving behind someone who seems to be in no hurry to get home, think about that; they are in no hurry to get home.  a little sad.  weir1
